Whatever! Bah!

I was rooting for the Pens but the Wings were pretty tough team to beat. Too much depth and experience for the talented but young Penguins to overcome but boy was it so close to another late tying goal for OT. That would have been a crazy finish.

Too bad the Wings didn't win it in their own barn in front of their faithful.

Congrats to the Wings!
As I grew up there, and watched many a memorable game in the old
Olympia arena, I've always been a fan...I watched last eve until
BeautyRestTime overcame me, somewhere in the 2nd period, .

Well done!

Michelle..the Detroit, Baltimore, New York fan

I thought you would at least stick with the East Coast, now you're mooving inland. Pretty soon you'll be cheering for the Suns.

It was quite a party at the Joe Lewis Arena last night. I was there with my kids and a few of their friends. Great game, for sure. Credit to the Penguins for making it a great series, but I am elated that the Wings won their 4th cup in 11 years. And the great thing for Red Wings fans is that this team not only has a lot of experience but also a lot of youth as well. Look for the Wings to be a threat for many years to come

A few pics from last night (sorry for the quality, these were taken with my phone's camera)
