Reminds me of two things:

1) I'm still a non smoker, quit in Sept of 2005, after 16 years of smoking, 1.5 packs a day.
2) Glad I don't live in New York anymore.

IDK, NYC and smoking have always correlated to me....

Ours is proposed to go to 3 something, all the hick gas stations have flyers all over protesting it. A pack in ME is around 6.75 or 7, and across the NH line, its 3.75

I think this is a run on sentence and you may have left out an "s" . That was just too easy to pass up... Sorry.
