Anyone interested in a Wii Fit?

Don't hold your breath.

Analyst says Nintendo deliberately redirecting Wii Fit to Europe.

Wii Fit shortages are nothing compared to the now infamous Wii shortages we've seen, at least one of those ever-insightful analysts now claims to deduced the cause of them, and he's laying the blame squarely on the big N. According to Wedbush Morgan Securities' Michael Pachter, Nintendo has shipped some 2 million Wii Fit units to Europe, while reserving a mere 500,000 for North America, which he surmises can only mean that Nintendo is deliberately redirecting 'em in order to take advantage of the strong Euro. Pachter seems to think that Nintendo will still make out alright in the end, however, saying that, "they know that Americans will be just as fat a few months from now," when it'll have more units available.

Since you said it's (semi nws) I'll avoid a look see. But the wife loves doing her exercise routine. It's will give the grandkids something to do when they visit, and many of our friends are much younger than we are so no doubt it would be a lot of fun.

My wife has been bugging me to get one. I replied by asking her if it was because the dusty Pilates tapes on the shelf and the ornamental exercize bike were in need of some company.

Nicole is interested in getting it... I saw the "safe" version on youtube when she first told me about it. I remember a bunch of signs in WalMart and Best Buy apologizing that they weren't going to be delivered for Mother's Day. I also didn't realize they were hard to get your hands on. That's kind of retarded that Fit is going on eBay to highest bidders. F Nintendo! I knew there was a reason I liked PlayStation more. We'll still eventually get one, just not paying an over inflated price.
