Thats about right.. You have to remember Diplomas each have different names on them. Aside from that, diplomas usually have to be custom made with the different colored foiling and embossed with a stamp. Compare it to a nice wedding invitation which can cost well over $1 each. I'm sure that cost has those portfolios included so true cost of reprint for the printer is probably $.50 each, which is still alot of money to eat, but I'm sure it will be someting he can write off.
