Audi S8 or BMW 7-Series

Which do you think looks better? (I know it isn't completely fair with the 7-Series being at the end of it's run, but play along anyway)

I saw one of these on the highway the other day. I know they aren't new or anything, but I really thought it was a good looking luxury car. I really hope BMW gets it right with the new 7-Series this time. I am not a big fan of the current design.

hands down, no question, the Audi S8.

But here's the disclaimer.. The lease like shit. Probably, hands down, the worst leasing car I have ever seen. Vs. the BMW 7-Series, one of the best leasing cars I've ever seen. We're talking $1100/mo vs. $2500/mo type numbers, no exaggeration.

And they hold no resale value at all.. So, it's an amazing car, that no one in their right mind should ever buy, unless they have more money than brains.

I agree with the two answers above . No contest, not even close, the A8 is a way better looking car than the big bimmer outside and in. While I've never been a fan of Audi and you won't see one parked in my driveway anytime soon, they have rather good-looking vehicles in their lineup. BMW really dropped the ball with the polarizing design of the current 7 and 5-series and I'm hoping they will get it right for their next generation design.

The Audi has a lot of Alum making it lighter than the 7.

It is a better design but I would not get it, maybe a used VW Phantom. A VW Phantom what dumb idea. They have Audi which is a already lux, what was VW thinking?

I saw an S8 once and thought it was brilliant. Too bad I'd never need that much space, or bulk.

If you have more $ than brains LOL - S8. I don't like the new 7 series either, prefer 04-07 i think it is.

I think better comparison would be the S8 vs B7. The Audi puts the bimmer to shame on looks. However the bimmer's performance kills the S8 all day everyday.

I agree there's no contest the other way when it comes to dynamics. I would take the B7 over the S8 all day and everyday.
