I can't believe the American people let this continue
It boggles my mind that we don't express more outrage. There should be more action to pass a bill which limits the scope of any particular bill to maintain relevance to the subject or action. Problem is such a bill would never pass either house.

The majority can't read. If it were a reality show or an American Idol episode....then they would know about it.

...my US history recall has eroded, so I don't remember "howit evolved", but somewhere along the way a simple "bill" transformed into a telephone book sized collection of boilerplate, bs, and chuck full of pork barrel, rip off spending deals... It will never happen, but a 1-3 page "bill", readable by JoeSixPack&Mom Walmart, containing the essence of one new proposed law, should be the order of the realm. What a sinking, nearly unfixable mess this "gov't" of "ours" has become... we get what we deserve, I suppose. BR,mD I Wanna Be King for a Year!
