Amen Brother!

You are right, I had many problems with my A4 and that thing was worth nothing for a trade. AOA did nothing nor did the dealer. I told them what to do with their cars and service.

But here's the disclaimer.. The lease like shit. Probably, hands down, the worst leasing car I have ever seen. Vs. the BMW 7-Series, one of the best leasing cars I've ever seen. We're talking $1100/mo vs. $2500/mo type numbers, no exaggeration.

And they hold no resale value at all.. So, it's an amazing car, that no one in their right mind should ever buy, unless they have more money than brains.

Not a true comparison as E65 7-series is almost gonzo. F01 press release coming very soon.
Between A8 and F01 I prefer F01.

First time i ever saw an S8 i was staggered by the exceptional paint, interior fit and finish and over all luxury of it all. Then I looked at the $85,000 price tag and gulped. That must have been when they first came out so at this point i don't have an educated opinion. However even though vehicles generally are not good investments i would be weary of purchasing any luxury car that has poor resale value.

I know it is not really a fair comparison. Especially because of the 7's age and trying to compare a normal 7 to Audi's S line, but man that Audi looked good on the road. I was really surprised how much I liked it. Way better looking than the currnent 7 IMO. I also agree that the dynamics of the bimmer would be better than the Audi.

I just hope BMW makes the new 7 look as good as the e38 (1995 to 2001)previous generation 7 series looked. The 740i with the sport package and the M parallel spoke wheels was the best looking 7 series IMO. If they could just update that look without getting crazy the new 7 should look really good.

I have to admit that Audi has designed some pretty good looking cars in the last 5 years or so. They have come along way.

buy a demo'ed S8. Is the $30,000 hike worth the 3000 miles?
