That's one of the problems with the political process: one has to get/be cubbyholed to be "recognized" and be part of the juggernaut that runs politics ...from local to county to state, to the Fed. There are several "liberal" situs and ideas I like; there are several "conservative" ideas I like. I suppose I support Libertarian principles, in general, more than any other "party platform", however. The "two party" process is limiting, adversarial, and a bs arm wrestle, imo. The basic root problem, vis a vis the 2 "candidates", is how in this country of a third of a billion people, with a ball park guess of 100,000+ being "capable" to be Prez, that it comes down to McCain or Obama?!

The problem lies within thinking short term. Bush thought short term thats why he spent billions of dollars on the war. Now long term, the Country is on a downward spiral. What short term goals will fix the issues that we are having as a Nation?

I'm an idiot. White Vote = poorly translated from vote blanc. My idiot teacher added the "he" to make it white. sounds like white vote, but in reality is blank vote a vote saying "I don't like any of the candidates" http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vote_blanc |

Truth is anyone with enough brains to rise above the process is too smart to spend 200 million dollars for a $400k a year job. Our process weeds out the very person this Country needs to take America to that next level. Complicating matters is the fact that most of the electorate is either too stupid or too partisan to recognize such a candidate. Only politicians can be elected in our current system. |
