Actually, technically, no you can't. But that's another topic.

Actually that is why some people don't agree with the concept of gay marriage.

Religion is another topic, but not sure we want to open that box?

That isn't necessarily true. I'm not religious and I don't believe the word 'marriage' should be used in a gay relationship. Again, laws under the government should all be equal, however religious contexts like marriage are not governed by the law.

No need to point the topic in another direction.
I believe i made my self clear regarding the subject
and i won't be dragged into another argument
about the "Jews that refused to convert during
the Spanish Inquisition" or anything else for that matter.

This thread is not about the Jews, or Catholics,
or Muslims, or Baptists, or any other religion and
the rights they have had, do have, or were persecuted
for, then, now, or in the future.

Let me be clear. I disagree with the ruling regarding
the marriage of same sex couples period.
How i feel about that has nothing to do with any other
illustrations one may put forward to justify, to
give credence to the ruling.

You can expound on equality, civil rights, human rights,
or what ever you want to call it. I disagree with it and
all this dog chasing it's tail philosophy is nothing more
than attempt to give the ruling a leg to stand on.
But it will not distract me from my principal stand.

So with that I will end my part in this thread
and PM others with additional responses.

Was the choice of the jews during the Spanish Inquisition, that were given a chance to convert but decide to rather die, A WRONG CHOICE?

not technically. but...off the record alot of things can go down if you know what i mean.

remember the church used to sell indulgences...it's like Joe Pesci said on Casino.

"it all about the dollars"

and "yes" i am catholic myself. but I dont accept everything the pope says. so, "you" can technically say im not catholic...but then again "LOL" that is another topic.

Newsflash...Evolution is natures way of coping and diversifying an organism to better survive in its surroundings. Unless you feel gay men are going to "evolve" to the point where they can conceive a child. Otherwise the evolution of the human species toward homosexuality is a dead end.

More like an aberration or mutation on the natural side which happens quite often.

evolution is not just biology. NEWS FLASH: use a THESAURUS it will teach u many things.

And you listen..when the first man on earth has a baby, u will roll over in ur grave. it's oldtimmers like u that are holding back the future.

but for what it's worth...

I dont know u or really care too, with that point of view.

and i'll be man enought to apologize for being so bold and upfront with my comments but ignorance is a fuel that gets me going.
