The real issue is that the country cannot afford more of the Bush leadership (stupidity) and that is what we will not get with John McCain.
The Bush leadership has provided for: 1)A hopeless war with no hope of winning and little or no support from our allies. 2)Spending billions on the war. 3)The country is in a recession, with inflation caused by oil prices. We need change no matter how inexperienced and young.

As if racism does not work both ways. I can see 92% of African Americans voting for a democrat if the other candidate is Republican when you factor in past voting trends. However, when two Liberal Democrats are the only options on the ballot and 92% of the African Americans vote for the Black Guy. Hmmm...Do you think it had anything to do with the color of his skin? Racism is an equal opportunity dysfunction. |

He is half white so will both side find something they like or dislike? I really feel that the country is in trouble and we don't have time for racism. We need to act like true Americans in a crisis and all work together for the common good. |

Clinton had the majority of the black vote and black superdelegate count until South Carolina and Billy Clint's insensitive remarks. The Clinton's cost themselves the black vote. Obama definately did not earn the black vote. If you want to blame somebody for the racial polarization of this election, look no further than CNN, MSNBC, and FOX News. They mix race with politics, ad nauseum. ![]() |

and Wagner - McCain is forth? And you say some people have blinders on. WOW. McCain is Bush III (hmmm war with Bush 1, a war with Bush 2, guess what's going to happen with McCain - it might just be Iraq). I also agree that racism works both ways. No one should vote for a candidate based on the color of their skin, because that has nothing to do with them being able to run the country. Didnt Jesse Jackson run? I don't recall him getting 90% black voters.. correct me if I'm wrong. No one will recognize him as half white. Again, does it matter? If you truly are a "democrat" and you didn't like the way Bush handled his 2 terms (wow.. still can't believe he was re-elected LOL), then why would you vote for McCain? Just because he has a head start and he has a plan through 2013? Let's see how his plan works out.. To be honest, I truly believe who ever the Dem candidate is... McCain will win.. I would be very surprised to see a black man or a woman win (I would like to see one of them win.. but nonetheless surprised). ![]()

McCain will win based NOTHING on skin tone....that is just crap to make up for a candidate that has shown he really has a great speech, great books and wonderful inspiration but no idea of how to make anything happen. I will be the first to admit I drank the Kool-Aide a year ago, thankfully the election wasn't held in 2007. Oh, is today a flag lapel day for him or not, I can't remember ![]()

Just curious.
It's interesting to read everyone's opinions. Sincere opinions as they are i wonder........... What's will be the reaction of those who believe Obama is going to lose only to find that he in fact does become the President? |

Actually, I'm pretty sure he will win as long as the media continues to pander to the Democrats and if nothing else comes to light as in Rev Wright or worse. If he wins...More power to him and the Democrats and Shame on the Republicans. I'll keep my fingers crossed and my hand on my wallet because Democratic House, Senate and White House = LabGuy paying more out of his pocket to prop up those who choose the hard life thinking it was the easy way out. |
