I think we can all admit when we first heard about "Barack Obama" we were saying "yeah right buddy... come again.." But as much of the higher ups in Dem party, they have come to know him and feel like he is the strongest candidate. Unfortunately, come Presidential election time - it's the American's that will elect the president. Time will tell. To be honest, I wouldn't be shocked and suprised if Hillary is the candidate.. I guarantee you they are sitting around saying "Can Barack REALLY pull this off??" - but we will see.
