I'm not going, but having grown up on the North Shor of LI I was born with a lax stick in my hand

I was surprised to see Lacrosse Day from Manhasset HS on ESPN2 a couple of weeks ago.

ESPNU had the Cornell Ohio game on yesterday too.

Good to see that the NCAA gave all of the Duke players an additional year of eligibility due to "the incident"....

GO BIG RED! (even though they got crushed this weekend )

The Heels lost a close game to Navy yesterday

It's fun to watch though. I went to the Duke v. Carolina ACC semifinals, (which was consequently, my first attendance at a college sport match ) and had a good time. Lacrosse isn't UNC's strong suit but in the grand scheme of things, they still play very well, just not aggressive enough IMO.

yeah, lacrosse is finally getting some attention, thanks to ESPNU.
last weekend, both saturday and sunday, games were on from
noon 'til about 9:30PM. i'm thinking of heading up to Ithaca this
sunday to catch the Ohio State/Duke game and the Notre Dame/Syracuse
game. what's unheard of these days, tickets are only $10 and
that includes both games. crazy!
