Leo is a great cat. I can't really tell you, never had a XTI. It still is a small SLR so the grip is not as good as the 40D, however it weighs must less and still has good specs. I am sure that the 40D is a better camera however considering cost and weight I went with the Rebel. |

I never would have thought you'd post pics of pussy and bush.
Congrats on the camera. Did you get the standard kit lens?

Yes, I got the standard zoom lens.
The cat tends to move its head and is hard to shoot. The photo of the cat was taken utilizing the rapid shoot function. I took about 35 photos in a few mins to get this one. This "motor drive" ability is something most point and shoots don't have. I also find that having control of ASA, shutter speed and lens opening is good. The camera has a greater range of ASA and it has a number of auto settings that optimizes the photo conditions/settings. I find that the ability to see and control the photo settings makes you think about the impact of ASA etc and makes you a better a better photographer. I am happy that I took the leap to a digital SLR camera. Last edited by x54.4blue : 04-20-2008 at 11:38 AM. |
