Hi everyone,
I am new here and recently exported a 2006 X3 to Germany, where I currently live. Germany requires the parking light (amber lights) or position 2 lights to be white (turn signals still need to be amber though) and for the rear fog light to be installed. The first item seem to be a real problem for dealers here, even though there is actually a hole in the high beam light for the German version of the parking light. Can anyone help me out with this problem? I am grateful for any advice! Bis bald! Michael |

Can you use the US/Canadian DRL as the parking light? I know it could be too bright for EU specs, but its worth a shot.
Let us know the approx cost and procedure to installing the rear foglight.......kinda interested. If all else fails, you could try and install the EU/international spec Light Control Module. Viel Glück! Last edited by AzNMpower32 : 07-18-2008 at 11:31 AM. |
