Parking sensors going nuts!

I bumped into someone today on my way to work, and knocked my front license plate bracket off. Aside from that, there is no visible damage to the car, but now the parking sensors are going haywire whenever I engage them...

Has anybody ever had this issue after impacting something with their X5? Is there a way to reset / calibrate the sensors without going to the stealer?

As stated above, there is no damage to the sensors, they sit within the bezel of the front bumper, so they were not touched when I bumped the other car.

does your PDC light on the centre consule flash when engaged, if so one of your sensors was damaged (it doesn't have to be visual)

It maybe that one of the sensors became disconnected with the impact or the harness was damaged/shorted. The trim pieces holding the sensors are easily removed to check the connections. See the PDC retrofit guides on the homepage for pics.
