Moving NAV DVD from E90 335i to E46 330i

Hi,

I tried to place a NAV DVD from a E90 335i iDrive into a MK4 E46 330i Navigation but got the following error message "Incorrect CD/DVD in navigation computer. Please insert appropriate CD/DVD"

So is it not possible to use E90 DVD in a E46?

This is the DVD moved from the 335i and inserted in to the E46:

No, both E90 335i iDrive and MK4 E46 330i have different units. E90 uses professional, e46 uses High.

Regards,
Manu.

Like Manu says, no.

The PRO and HIGH map disc use a different format and the drives require the correct format discs to be used.

Neither disc will work in either drive.
