XM Direct needs rebooting?

I recently installed an XM Direct in my 03 X5 non DSP non Nav. I have to constantly unplug the Blitzsafe unit power and plug it back in to work. If I shut off the car and restart it, the XM sounds really garbled and the volume needs to be cranked. Thats when I do the whole unplug thing/reboot and it works again. Has anyone had this problem?

Sounds like you need to get that unit replaced. I have never had such a problem.
