Intravee/KCA-420i/IPOD installed on 06 X5 4.8is with 16x9NAV + DSP

I have just installed the Intravee (very easy installation) that I just bought from bimmernav and it is working in terms of sound and switching tracks.
The issue I am having is the Intravee Menu desappears after a few secs even in exclusive audio mode.
I have read the manual and also tried clicking the 2 triangle button next to the right of the MODE button to switch to exclusive audio mode and still the Intravee menu disappears so it's difficult to navigate the Ipod.
My Nav software version is 4 1/60 and according to Bimmernav they say the unit has the new firmware. I also tried setting it to both US and UK modes.
Can someone please help in getting this resolved.

I just installed the Intravee II kit in my 06 X5. I had the same problem. I would see the Ipod display for a few seconds. The display would flicker on and off. I had to register with intravee's forum, then register as a customer to download the update. After installing the update, the display works perfectly.

Thanks so much for the info. I had posted on the intravee forum, at the same time, and Richard just gave me the same fix. I will try it and report back.

I upgraded to firmware 5.40-323 and it resolved my issue.

If you want to know why it was happening, it had to do with the software in the BM53 radio. In 2006, BMW updated it slightly to be compatible with the MP3 CD changer, and displaying track ID3 info. Caused a issue with the Intravee, but all good now :-)
