Mirror tilt

Hi chaps..

My old 7 series had the old thing where if you put the car in reverse, the passengers mirror tilted down..

I have now has a 3 series (e46 320d m-sport) and it does not do it..

I thought that this car would have it as standard... any ideas?

And before anybody says anything.... yes I have tried to move the mirror switch to see if that makes a diffrence..

Thanks

Check to make sure that you have the driver's side selected on the mirror select switch. My E46 325I does not have this option also. It was a standard feature on my X.

So - you get this straighten out yet? If you completed the above suggestion and still does not work. Did you check to make sure that the fuse has not blown? Or if the wires in the mirror are even connected?
