FM Radio Wiring - New Zealand x5

Could anyone point me in the direction of the radio antenna wiring diagram for a 2002 X5 4.4i.
I've had the spare tyre in and out a couple of times lately, and my FM radio reception is now very bad. I assume I've knocked something in the boot.
I've had the cover off (located on the rear inside window, and have checked the connections to what looks like a FM booster? however unplugging these did not seem to effect the reception at all.
I've read in other thread's that the parts I'm looking for may be lcoated in the driver side rear wheel area, or under the spare, but don't know what I'm looking for?
Thanks

If you watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rBgVzjpDq4 at about the 2:40 mark he talks about the radio module, and the antenna connection. Might help you trace the problem.

BTW where in New Zealand are you? Im in Hamilton.

Thanks x5kiwi, very useful video. However after removing all the radio parts I'm still unable to trace the FM poor reception problem. I suspect it must then be the actual tuner unit ?

PS, I'm in North Shore, Auckland

I have the same problem. The video is good but my X5 has not the navigation kit. I'm thinking about dismantle the hole antenna trajectory to find out what's going on.

Has your reception become worse, my volume is now very limited, and over distorted on the base when listening to the radio?
