Well I had the text. Worked great all day yesterday but when I left for work this morning once again no text. Nothing changed overnight that I am aware of and I made sure it was on CD6/TR6 before I turned the car off last night.

Any ideas how to solve this problem? I really don't want to have to unplug the unit every night in order to get the text.

Tom,

Sorry for not responding to your question sooner but yes my car is equipped with Bluetooth and I use it. Could it be causing a conflict? It seems that everytime I leave the car overnight I lose the text and have to undo and redo the hookup. It is easy to access so not a problem but it would be great if I could work around this. Also, I was using the Dice system and all of a sudden it switched over to FM and it took a while to get the Dice back online. Now that I think about it I am trying to remember ifit was around the time I made a phone call using Bluetooth. Not sure.

If it would be easier for you if I called you with my issues rather than posting them to the forum, please let me know. I would be happy to give you a call.

Sure thing, feel free to contact me directly and we can talk it over in detail on the phone.

Tom,
Just wanted to let you know that I have not been able to try the fix you recommended by disconnecting the battery cable and touching them to see if it fixes this issue. Unfortunately, my vehicle has been in and out of the service department over the last 2 weeks with the final diagnoses being a new transmission. I will try this as soon as I get my vehicle back and let you know if it works.
