Will the DICE work on an 05 X3 with both NAV and DSP?

I have located the wire bundle from the center console and am ready to plug something in. Do I need to make any connections with the DSP in the trunk?

Also, I already have an Aux input installed. Does that need to come out?

Thanks!

Yes, what wires are in the bundle in the center console? It will either be a 3-pin & 6 pin connectors or 3-pin and coax connector.

The website should be able to tell you once your information is entered, or feel free to PM me your shipping address and I'll look it up for you.

Tom,

I have a Mini Cooper S 2005 model (Nov 2004 Build) with factory Nav and Harmon Kardon Sound

Does the DICE adapter, whilst in use, allow the Factory Sat Nav voice to be heard giving directions over the music playing?

I'm leaning towards the DICE over the Icelink plus due to the IPOD interface and MFSW controls allowed to be used at the same time. Icelink allows only one or the other to be used as far as i know???

Also DICE has aux input.

Also is there enough cable with the DICE so that it can be installed in the Centre arm rest?

When is the DICE Video cradle available?

What do i need to order for the above system?

Steve

The icelink kits overseas only came with the Quadlock connector - which disables BMW Assist and Voice Prompts. If you have Bluetooth - this is affected as well and requires rewiring in order to retain the features. The DICE isolates the interface purely to the CD Changer wiring and does not affect these devices. Audio will automatically mute when voice prompts are given as the MFSW commands are all transferred to the iPod.

The wiring is 15 feet from end to end - more than enough to reach the glovebox or center console. Here is the kit you need:

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Tom,

That was Quick, many thanks

Does the kit come complete with all cables, i.e cable required from the CD changer socket to the module and cable from the module to the Ipod? What is the length of the cable from the Module to the Ipod?

Thanks again

Steve
