Yes I would think you'd want the iPod up front, but that hot module, can it be tucked in the back or under a seat? TIA

Under a seat or I would prefer underneath the center console bin.

I bought the DICE. Easy to install and does not initialize. Can not read text, listen to music, change songs. But, I can fastforward a song.....

Sounds like you are in AUX mode. What iPod Generation are you using and I will need to know the firmware on the iPod:

I have a 4gen and 3.1.1 frimware. On my Ipod / about it has 3.1.1 on version. I went to disc #6 and tried 1-20. I was messing with it so much I wore down my battery....

Was your battery disconnected during the initial installation? This will cause the DICE not to be initialized properly.

The battery was connected during the installation. The battery problem occured because I was trying to figure out how to set up the text on the radio........
I have to get a jump start now because I drained my battery.

Back to the original issue - have the battery cables been disconnected? A dead battery is not considered the same as removing the cables.
