Bluetooth & iPod Help

No self-respecting board should be without a thread on these issues. Someone search the archives and help me out!

What help do you need? I also posted a thread about V710 and BMW Bluetooth for the X5.

Which phone are you using? I am specifically trying to get the V710 with the new firmware to work with a compatible BMW BT module (which also includes address book transfer).

But any help is appreciated. (Just love this forum....hope the administrator doesn't MOVE my post....heh heh!)

Is that the temperamental Verizon phone?? I have the V600...so in this case, I might not he able to help much. I thought the new firmware fixed the problem?

My post was an attempt at humor. Guess it wasn't very funny.

Anyway, I too have a V710 w/ a 552 BT module, and the original phone firmware. Does the updated firmware help in any way?

I've always found that a hard "re-boot" of the X seems to help these problems...unplugging the positive battery cable for a half hour made my Sirius work. Perhaps doing that and re-pairing the Verizon phone might help?

With regard to iPods...

This Saturday I'll be plugging in new Dension IceLink+ into my wagon. I have DSP and Nav which should be the same as those in pre-2004 X5s. Will report back. Personally, I'm especially curious about the song info Dension claims they can project onto my Nav screen....
