Is Morristown typically responsive to anyone else?

I paid for a Park Distance Controller retrofit which is quoted in an earlier thread on this page and have been asking for confirmation of their receipt of my PayPal payment since last Friday. So far not a peep. I sent a PM here, I responded to the original post and I e-mailed them directly using their new e-mail address.

I'm not asking for much here, just confimation that my payment was received and that the item would be shipped.

Maybe I need to change deoderant or?

Trying giving them a call. I have always found them to be very responsive.

I am having a hard time getting a hold of someone myself so that I can purchase a set of wheels and I have called, sent PM's and e-mails for the past two or three weeks.

i usually call them directly... very professional and helpful on the phone...

on the forum it's a different story...not much of a response.. they probably login once a week or something...

but they're reputable...haven't had problems with them...

I was wondering about the same thing. They used to be VERY responsive, when I first started ordering stuffs from them a year or two ago. But recently, it's seems as if they don't want my business. I gave up waiting after about 2 weeks after my initial inquiries and just bought the parts at the wholesale counter at Crevier BMW.

I ordered something small from them last month. They took a few days to respond with the paypal invoice (to charge me) but that was normal for a non-internet business I thought. I paid immediately, to which I received a paypal receipt. 3 days later, I get another paypal invoice asking for payment... I responded that I paid already, then the next day I received the shipment notification.

I was satisfied with the overall experience that time (especially given the discount they provide to us). I did ask for a new quote 6 days ago via new email and here, got the response 5 days later here, and emailed them back asking for a paypal invoice again to move ahead. No response yet but hopefully today. You'd think they'd jump right on orders but I guess they don't come through everyday - but they do have an ebay store so they should be accustomed to these dealings. Right now, I'm just hoping their new email address works.

Yeah the discount is better than most I've seen, so I'll give them a little slack. I heard back from them today and cleared up the confusion. They had sent me a PayPal invoice but I had paid them directly via PayPal so we were 'out of sync.' Hopefully I'll see the part soon.

Our response time is a little delayed we went from 3 people answering emails and going on the forums to one person. I try to keep up on all of the X5 world questions. Also recently we have had Email server issues so the whole dealer group had to change all the email addresses and unfortunately some of the emails got lost in between. The fastest way to get in contact with me would be email. The new email address is parts.morristown@openroad.com or give me a call (973) 539-1754 . You can also visit our website http://accessories.bmwusa.com/Vehicl...=16856&yr=2005 upon checking out put that your X5 world member name in the comments section to receive the X5 member discount. Thank you all of your business and patience.
