I think you can just leave the other! actually the white or purple is the antenna for btooth receiver, so you must connect that otherwise the ulf won't see the phone.

plus there is the big connetcor on the other side of the ulf that you must connect!!!!

Should I simply connect the white connector and omit the other?

I guess I could experiment... but it's just started raining here in London, and as I lack a large enough garage, I can await your guys' help!
