South Coast / Southern Highlands Drive Day Mk.II
Who's interested in another South Coast / Southern Highlands Drive Day??? The last one Brian a mate of mine organised was a ripper! Here's a map of the last run just to whet your appetite.
When: Saturday 18th October 2008 from 8am
Where: meet at Loftus Oval, then via Royal NP to Brian's place in Albion Park to use it as a start/finish point. Fuel up at Albion Park Rail (V-Power, Ultimate and Vortex 98 are all available). For those coming from Canberra, we will aim to meet at Robertson Pie Shop at ~11am.
What: a variety of excellent mountain passes and country backroads through Albion Park, Jamberoo, Robertson, Kangaloon, Kangaroo Valley, Berry, etc
Lunch will probably be at Kangaroo Valley pub or somewhere in Berry.
What to bring:
UHF radio (if you've got one) ... essential!
BYO meat and drinks (except wine) ... there's a Woolies and bottle shop just around the corner
Brian will be inviting the guys from the 1addicts forum too, so there should be a few 1-series on the run as well. They're all good people, and much like the MINI crowd.
