1) Do I tap into the wires comming out of the radio module OR Amp connector block, bearing in mind that I have no Amp/DSP ?
2) For Subwoofer, Is there any advantage of a bridgeable 2 Channel Amp over a momo amp?
3) Subwoofer Speakers for standard 1.5cf sealed box - I am considering a 10"/12" Sqaure Kicker Subs or any other Manufacture subs with round 10"/12". Recommendations & comparisons to the kicker appreciated. I listen mostly to R&B and some garage so I prefer a tight/fast base response that is Not boomy or shake the car to bits. CharlieHustleX5 on another thread meantioned the Kicker's. Is there a difference between the 12" & 10" kickers in X5 boot?.I have no experience with subs and I am not looking for overly expensive ones either

Thanks

1 - You will take your wires at the radio module in the rear of the car. This is assuming you have one in the drivers side rear trunk compartment where the tail light access is found.

2 - Mono Amps are specifically made to produce sound at low frequencies, where bass is usually found. If this amp is dedicated to a sub, a Mono amplifier would be your best choice.

3 - For your listening taste, a JL w3 would suit you nicely. I strongly recommend the w3 in either a 10 or 12 inch model. Great sound, doesn't require a huge enclosure, and picks up bass notes well on fast beat songs. Runs about $240 more or less, but worth every penny.

A kicker L7 is going to be too much for your taste. I run one right now, but I change out to a JL w6 from time to time when I'm messing around with different enclosures and setups on my 2 cars.
