Humidity should be down a bit today and tomorrow, but that usually means hotter temps.

Warmer weather can be expected today, and with those warm afternoon temps, and plenty of sunshine in the forecast, ozone levels are expected to increase.

Drier air is moving in from the west, and that means temperatures are going to be heating up. Today’s high will reach 108, slightly above our normal of 106, out at Phoenix Sky Harbor.

A Health Watch is in effect today for ozone, with an extension of that watch possible on Friday. Much drier today, with dew points dropping, and rain chances moving farther east.

By Saturday, the remnants of Hurricane Dolly get caught up in our Monsoon flow, therefore, bringing that moisture into the eastern half of the state. With this increase in moisture, we pick up a 30% chance of storms in the Valley for the weekend.
