I feel like such an idiot

So today I went and got three new golf clubs, 2 Titleist Spin Milled Wedges and a new Odyssey Black Series putter, and obviously was very eager to try them out. However, being Florida and in the summer, it rains in the afternoon. So my solution was to wait for the rain to pass and the practice green to dry up a bit. Ok so that puts us at about 9:00 PM, which means it's dark outside...hard to see the ball = dilemma. My brilliant solution was to pull one car (the x5) to one side of the green and my friend's 330i perpendicular to the green to have a nice even coating of light. All's good, love the new putter by the way, until we lose track of time. All of a sudden I see my lights start to flicker and think to myself that can't be good. So I go over to the X to start it, and you can imagine that was a no go. So I ran over to the 330 and it didn't start until the 2nd try, but it was a relief that it did. So we still have half the lights and continue to putt, I was just like I'll deal with it later we have jumper cables. Until it was later and we didn't have jumper cables, and I just found out that at neither my house nor his are there any (I know I used to have some but I have no clue where they are). I call roadside assistance and of course they need the address, which is quite funny because the location of the car was at the main hotel area of the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, on Ponte Vedra BLVD, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. The lady thought I was retarded. Oh and by the way, by this time another gentleman had joined us putting and was like thank you so much for the light, this awesome. So when the woman finally understood what I was saying they give me this absurd time of 53 minutes response time, how on earth do they come up with this number? So waiting on the jump by the cars, security comes. They were very nice though, they were just like, ahh playing golf late, looks like your battery is dead. I'm just like how'd you guess. So they're just like we'll fix this. So after trying to figure out where to connect the cables they did. I drove the car very hard for about 5 miles to recharge the battery and all the warning lights went out. So I hope I'm in the clear and it will start in the morning. So a combination of golf and stupidity (temporarily) killed my car.
