I don't trust this eJack. Not that it's a bad product, but i've never heard of them before and EAS is the only one who sells it. At least Intrax has a brand history...
I've gotten pretty competent with the factory EHC system and adjusting it.
The dealership uses a GT1 whereas I use an Autologic. Lowering the car simply recalibrates the entire system - you fool the car into thinking it's at the default height. Once wheel size has been input, the computer will set the target height. There are default values (707mm front, 709mm rear) for a 4.8is. These measurements are taken from the bottom lip of the wheel to the edge of the fender. The system tolerances are +/- 10mm; anything less and the computer will not adjust for such a small change.
Example: to lower your X5 25mm (~1inch), you would tell the computer your measurements are 732 & 734mm. The EHC will bring the chassis down 25mm to *what it thinks* is 707 & 709.
There is a working range though, and by going too far you could risk damage or Susp. Level Inactive warning on the dash.
