You probably burnt a bad disc with errors on it that corrupted the loading process.
Burn another disc, test it properly (disc scan, error count) before using it. You'll find burning at disc speeds supported by the blank media you use give the best results.
I always check quality after a burn using Nero CD/DVD DiscSpeed, it gives a comprehensive quality report.
