You are being boned big time.

You need to find an independent that does good work on BMW's and knows the X5. Best move I ever in my opinion. In talking to a few BMW mechanics through some of the BMW forums and clubs, they always laugh and tell me how the stealerships are completely screwing their customers on what they charge, the work they do, and the real time it actually takes to do whatever jobs they are doing. Never mind the quality of workmanship.
